The wolves attack!

The Europa League Quarter Finalists of 2010 and top German club VfL Wolfsburg stayed with us here at the Stanglwirt from 17 to 24 July.

Last year’s German Champions VfL Wolfsburg returned to the Stanglwirt to stay with us a second time! The ‘Wolves’ came to Tyrol with their new manager Steve McClaren from England and the latest top scorer in the Bundesliga for 2010, Edin Dzeko as well as numerous press representatives. The Stanglwirt offers the best conditions for stars of the Bundesliga and training sessions can be held at the Wilder Kaiser stadium in Going. The highlight was when the ‘Wolves’ played an international friendly against Greek double champions 2010 Panathinaikos Athens in Schwaz. Balthasar Hauser was very pleased to welcome such sporting stars to the hotel, saying: “Top performance requires good foundations. This applies to football and to gastronomy! Here at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser we have all of the optimal conditions required!”
