When cows wear costumes

September is that time of the year for our cows on their alpine pastures
by the Wilder Kaiser, when their summer retreat ends and they return "home" to the cow barn here at Stanglwirt. The Almabtrieb ceremonial driving down of cattle from the mountain pastures into the valley is celebrated on the children's farm, where hearty fun, good mood as well as food and drink were all provided in abundance.
