Stanglwirt goes Cannes

The best things happen mostly on the spur-of-the-moment ... and it is precisely in this spur-of-the-moment fashion that the Stanglwirt recently decamped to pastures new, at the particular wish of the organisers, they saw to the exclusive catering for the grand-opening of the brand new business jet hangars in Cannes, and did so with a great deal of success.

The illustrious and highly renowned guests at the opening were more than taken with the lovingly prepared Stanglwirt buffet, where in a traditional setting our tasty, home-made produce among them Stangl mountain cheese, bacon, Kaminwurzen (smoked sausages), O'batzta (cheese delicacy), Weißwürste (veal sausages), sunflower seed bread and of course the superb Apfelstrudel were served up.

In the background "Loves songs from Tirol" is running on the Stanglwirt CD player, in front of the hangar the palm trees are blowing in the wind and inside there is the aroma of traditional Tirol food ... this worthy, and of course unusual setting amazes all guests ... all under the Stanglwirt motto "Bringing together ostensible contrasts" .... and brings in swarms of visitors. For the Stanglwirt team, managed by Maria Hauser, the landlord’s daughter, it was a very special experience and a great honour to have contributed to the huge success of this unusual opening event ... and there are more plans underway for similar projects in the future ... to be continued!
