Gregor Schlierenzauer, Martin Koch, Thomas Morgenstern, Andreas Kofler and Wolfgang Loitzl got together in mid-May for the official start of preparations for the season, and to carry out extensive performance diagnostics with us in Going. After a long and successful season ÖSV ski jumpers have for many years started their preparations for next winter here with us in the Stanglwirt. 'In the Stanglwirt we have a totally professional environment and the best training conditions for our sessions', says Head Trainer at ÖSV Alexander Pointner. The secret lies in the blend of perfect infrastructure, individual, personal service and also the particular tranquillity and seclusion we enjoy here with our hosts the Hauser family. The Stanglwirt has long been an ideal place for top-class athletes to prepare for competitions or for the new season. Along with ski jumpers, Austrian Nordic Combined specialists, Alpine stars and numerous top international football teams also regularly come to the Stanglwirt. Last but not least boxing world championsWladimir and Vitali Klitschko swear by a training camp in the Bio-Hotel Stanglwirt before every fight.

Setting the agenda for the forthcoming season in the Stanglwirt
The first meeting for Austrian ski jumpers after their well-earned break primarily involves an exchange of information, season planning, a sports medical check-up, in-depth performance analysis and also some initial fitness training together. 'The course of the new season is set in the Stanglwirt each year', explains Pointner. 'Since the athletes are already in a fitness building phase, the next lines of attack are discussed in the Stanglwirt. We pay particular attention to the individual needs of the athletes and build upon previous years' experience.' The Hauser family are very proud that the ski jumpers feel great in the Stanglwirt and that they have been coming back year after year. 'As hosts we are of course delighted to be able to make a small contribution to the great success of the Adler team during their annual training camp with us in the Stanglwirt, and whole-heartedly wish them every success for the forthcoming season', says Assistant Manageress Maria Hauser.
An exchange of blows by the sporting greats. Right after the ski jumpers, Wladimir Klitschko set up his training camp 'at home' with us in the Stanglwirt until the end of June to prepare for his big fight against David Haye on 2nd July 2011 in Hamburg. We are delighted to have our friend Wladimir back with us again!
