Chef de Rang (m/f)

Description of work

  • Looking after guests during breakfast, lunch and evening meals
  • Sole responsibility for one area of the restaurant
  • Selling, taking orders and serving meals and drinks including reconciliation of till receipts and waiter sales
  • Helping with and carrying out mise en place
  • Monitoring and taking responsibility for your stock of drinks
  • Helping with and carrying out daily cleaning work
  • Taking part in daily meetings about the menu
  • Working in the office
  • Preparing the mise en place and cleaning your own work area
  • Being familiar with the menu and wine list
  • Maintaining good relationships with guests and giving them expert advice on food and drink

Job requirements:
For this post, you should have completed professional training as a restauranteur or hotel manager and have professional experience in a similar role and the associated specialist knowledge. Sound knowledge of the world of wine is required. To round off your profile, you are always willing to be of service and have a confident and appropriate manner. In addition to German and English, knowledge of Italian would be an advantage.

  • You will be working in our "Auf der Tenne" hotel bar. You will assist a dynamic bar team with preparing all kinds of drinks and mixing cocktails, and will also look after our discerning guests.

Host/ess (responsible for table reservations) (m/f)

  • Immediate start - 1-year contract -
  • Minimum gross salary €1737.00 incl. overtime package (5 days | 45 hrs | salary negotiable depending on skills and experience)
  • Free accommodation and meals
  • You will be working in the hotel restaurant. This restaurant can seat up to 380 guests. You are responsible for taking table reservations, preparing seating plans, escorting guests to their tables and much more

Job requirements:
You have qualified as a restaurant manager or hotel manager. You enjoy working in an international hotel and are looking for a new post which will offer you a long-term challenge? You are very confident working on the computer (preferably Fidelio software, MS Word, MS Excel). You speak English and possibly also Italian. If you are a natural host/ess, you will be ideal for our team.
