When it comes to pleasures of the palate at the Green Spa Resort Stanglwirt, Daniel Campbell brings everything together. The F&B Director is in charge of providing our guests with many melt-in-the-mouth culinary treats and is always raising our high quality standards even further within the Stanglwirt's restaurants. The friendly F&B Director hails from Munich but has American roots. He has had an eventful career so far, finally bringing him to the Stanglwirt in 2019 where his aim is to diversify our offering even more. When he was younger, Daniel went to the US where he wanted to embark on a career in ice hockey. But in the end, his love for food won out, and Daniel soon switched jobs to become a chef, refining his talents on board cruise ships. When he got back to Germany, he founded a coffee shop chain with 26 branches before leaving the catering world behind to become an investment advisor in the property sector. "But once you fall in love with the hospitality business, you'll always come back," says the Munich-native with not one single regret about his decision to return.
Now the Stanglwirt benefits from Daniel's wealth of experience, and he wants to tap into all of the hotel's gastronomic possibilities with plenty of new projects in the pipeline that will offer Stanglwirt guests even more variety to choose from. We can't wait to see what he comes up with next!
