Every year, the luxury travel magazine honors hotels that offer their guests not only the highest level of comfort, but also a sustainable and environmentally conscious experience.

We are particularly proud that our organic and wellness resort was not only awarded 1st place in the main category of nature hotel, but also in the special category of sustainability. This double recognition underlines our decades-long commitment to a conscious approach to nature and resources.

The Stanglwirt has stood for genuine Tyrolean hospitality for over 400 years. Balthasar Hauser set an example back in 1980 when he founded one of the first organic hotels in Europe. Even today, many products, such as meat, milk and cheese, are produced directly on our own organic farm. Our wellness worlds are also designed with sustainability in mind: Heated with natural energy from the hotel's own Kaiser spring, they offer our guests a unique feel-good ambience. In addition, the entire hotel follows building biology principles to create a healthy and natural indoor climate. The generous use of local Swiss stone pine, wooden ceilings and natural building materials such as lime mortar instead of cement ensures a harmonious and ecological living environment.
