Riding lessons and trail rides
We kindly ask that you make your booking as soon as possible so that we are able to make every effort to meet your reservation request.
All prices are for Stangl guests only. Non-Stangl guests are charged a fee of € 5.00 per unit (excluding carriage rides & special offers).
We recommend our guests to book their riding lessons beforehand, as the riding lessons can be fully booked, even outside the holiday seasons. For an even better learning success, our riding stable team also recommends PRIVATE LESSONS, as this allows the riding instructor to concentrate fully on the beginner and the horse.

Are you looking for a unique location for your wedding photo shoot? We offer you the opportunity to conserve the memory of your most beautiful day with a noble Lipizzaner and a your photographer.

The price includes an escort by riding school staff (to supervise and provide assistance) and preparation of the horse (washing, cleaning, brushing, tack). It also includes the option of taking more photos inside the stables (new stalls, saddle room). Photographer not included. A photographer must be brought to the photoshoot individually. We are happy to assist you with photographer recommendations.
Stable tour
We are happy to give you an insight into our horse stables even without a booked riding session. External guests are welcome to register for weekly guided tours with the WilderKaiser Tourist Office.
Weekly guided tours of the stables also take place for our hotel guests. For more information, please refer to the holiday programme or contact our concierge team.

General conditions & information
- Beginning of the riding session: Please arrive at the stables 20 minutes before the riding lesson is due to start so that you can prepare your horse for the lesson.
- Cancelation: If you are unable to make your reservation, please inform us at least 24 hours beforehand. We reserve the right to charge the full price for cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice.
- Maximum weight: Riders must weigh 85 kg or less to ride our Lipizzaner horses.
- Age limit: Children from the age of 8 may ride our Lipizzaners. Offers for our smallest horse lovers can be found in the offers overview.
- Please note: Riding and handling your horse before, during and after the lesson is undertaken at your own risk. Parents are responsible for their children.
- Deviations: As we work with animals and want to meet the needs of both the rider and the horse, the length of the lesson may vary. This can also be affected by the preparation time between individual sessions. Thank you for your understanding.
