Call it what you like, but anyone wishing to escape from their daily routine will find a vast and varied choice of sauna and wellness facilities at the Stanglwirt...
The natural swimming lake
Whether to add the finishing touch to a sauna session or as the ultimate way to freshen up on a hot summer's day, leaping into our beautifully landscaped natural swimming lake is always a great reward. The pool, which measures about 517 m² and is surrounded by rocks and water-loving plants, is yet anotherhighlight in our water worlds – impressive in every way.
To make your swimming experience as natural as possible, the sides of the pool have been clad in local rock. The small cracks encourage algae to form and thus provide a totally natural appearance that ensures nothing detracts from your natural swimming experience. To ensure that the water is kept perfectly clean – and entirely naturally too – the pool has a special filtration system for large bodies of water which operates entirely without chemicals. The natural swimming lake therefore lives up to its name in every way. Take a leap and discover this refreshingly cool experience for yourself!
Our sauna complex
Our Stanglwirt sauna complex is divided into two different areas. In the sauna world for families, you'll find the invigorating salt steam grotto, the fabulous rock crystal steam bath, the stone sauna for weary joints, the aromatic spruce organic sauna and the traditional Wilder Kaiser sauna. Here all the mums and dads can enjoy some relaxing downtime while their children marvel at the huge marine aquarium from the rock whirlpool just next door. You are welcome to wear swimwear in these saunas and steam baths.
